We are very pleased to have 186th Criminal District Court Judge Jefferson Moore as our speaker this month. Before being elected to this bench in 2014, he was a prosecutor in the military, and then in private practice. Since being elected he has presided over many high-profile cases which have garnered national attention. Despite the intense and serious criminal cases he hears daily, he even manages to remain a very nice guy.
After Judge Moore speaks, we will open up discussion on the current city election, hear from any candidates who are present, and provide resources to help members make their decisions about candidates and the bond propositions.
Meanwhile, kudos to our friends at UIW who have earned approval from the school to form a College Republicans club there for the first time in history, and are having their very first official meeting this evening!
We hope you will join us for a great evening of conservative camaraderie, food and edification. 
Feel free to wear festive fiesta finery for this occasion. Tomorrow is a San Antonio holiday for the Battle of Flowers Parade. Viva!
