November 2017 Meeting

General Elections are secondary.

6:30 – 8:30 PM
Thursday, November 30th
Picante Grill
3810 Broadway
San Antonio, Texas  78209

The Primary Election is how we determine who gets to be our Republican Nominee on the November ballot in every race.
It’s our quality control mechanism.
This go-round, the battles will be epic in Bexar County. The importance of our March election cannot be overstated. Seriously, this is HUGE.

We are choosing a new county party chairman to lead our party and be our spokesman, a new Congressman for CD 21 for the first time in over two decades, a new State Representative in District 121 for the first time in 12 years, replacements for numerous venerable Republican judges who are retiring, and considering challengers to incumbent Republicans.
At least, those of us who vote in the primary are choosing.

Come and learn about the firestorm of action unfolding in advance of our Primary. First, we will hear from our 2018 Bexar County Primary Administrator, Lily Gough, who will run down how our party goes about carrying out the responsibility of running our Primary Election. Then we will hear from candidates in some of the hotly contested races–some in highly contentious Primary races with multiple Republicans running to be the Republican nominees on the ballot in November, and some who will face powerful incumbent Democrats in November. Let’s use this opportunity to vet the candidates for ourselves and be informed voters.

There is no charge to attend our gathering, food is available to order from the restaurant’s menu, and all Republicans are welcome.
